The enclosure, doors, and upper chambers of our 33kV RMUs undergo a thorough surface treatment process, providing a durable and uniform finish suitable for the environmental conditions in Uganda. All cabinets are equipped with a main grounding busbar for effective and reliable grounding. Metal components, including grounding switches and interlocking mechanisms, are securely connected to the grounding busbar using copper braids for optimal conductivity and safety.

Gas-insulated models feature reliable pressure relief mechanisms to manage internal pressure in the event of faults. The upper board is designed for easy access to busbar connections. The upper auxiliary devices chamber offers ample space for installing control terminals and other necessary components. The design facilitates efficient implementation of relay protection schemes for the 33kV network.

Our 33kV RMUs incorporate dependable interlocking systems between load break switches/circuit breakers and grounding switches, as well as between the grounding switch and the enclosure doors, ensuring safe and sequential operation to prevent faults and enhance the overall safety of the 33kV power distribution system.
